I had to take off my front fender flares because I was rubbing at like 1/2 turn, but without the flares I don't rub... That is when it's not flexed

You can use a dremel tool to cut the bottom of the flares, or just cut your fenders now, going to have to anyway haha

It's a lease so I think I might just rock the bare fenders for awhile, I actually kind of like the look. Will contemplate trimming if it seems to be an issue once I hit some trails

FTFY :D no but seriously, when you go get an alignment make sure they get you to 4 degrees of castor with 0 toe and camber.. Normal is 2.5 degrees but it'll move the tire as far forward so it doesn't rub.. as bad.

So today I got my oil catch can installed as well as a LED maglight mounted to the left of the drivers seat. I order 3/8' fuel line however to outlets on the catch can were a little too big. I spent a decent amount of time sanding them down and I used a dab of motor oil on the outside of the outlet to try and get the hose on easier but it was still a pain in the ass. When I go home I will be painting the mounting bracket black as well and find a better option to secure the mount because the screws I used don't want to stay tight. Took my truck for a little spin around the block once I was all done to make sure it wasn't throwing codes due to a leak.

Really looking forward to seeing the benefit of having the catch can once I start putting some miles on the truck.

I also installed white LED's (as opposed to amber) for the DRL's and red LED's (as opposed to amber) for my blinkers

Thanks man! I haven't gotten the chance to hit some trails yet to put the KO2's to the test but I have a trip planned this coming weekend... Love the look of the bronze wheels, it's a refreshing change from the blacked out or stormtrooper look.

Alright so I haven't posted any picture updates in awhile because my android phone took a crap and I'm back to the good old iPhone 4. Unfortunately the camera quality is just not the same but I've been itching to update the thread. Since I last posted I've installed a maglight on the drivers seat, blind spot reflectors, an oil catch can, I de-stickered the bedsides, and I'm currently plastic dipping the front toyota emblem and the back two emblems white.

I also have a line output converter that I will be installing shortly so I can have my 12" alpine type R back in business. A lot of learning has been done in the last two months but I am loving every second of my tacoma. Have seen a few 16's in person now (have yet to test drive but I don't have any desire to) and I'm still more than satisfied with the purchase of my 15.

Here's a nice picture from this weekend. More to come! I plastic dipped my bumper charcoal yesterday out of curiosity to see whether I liked it or not... I'll have some pics up later today. ^.jpg

So as of today I have done a couple more mods, however I haven't taken any more picture of the build progress. After a long period of going back and forth between husky floor mats and weather tech, I pulled the trigger on a front set of Husky x-act contour floor mats and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. They are made of what appears to be a very durable rubber material (time will tell) that doesn't have my feet slipping around when I am driving. It has rained here and there this past weekend and even when my feet were wet they didn't slip around at all.

My buddy back home helped my plastic dip my ugly chrome bumper, took about 4 hours in total (couple corona and lime breaks) but they result came out awesome! I went with the charcoal plastic dip assuming that the color would match with the MGM paint all that well and I was right. It looks good, but I'm still not 100% set on it. As much as I would love to buy an aftermarket bumper I just don't feel comfortable investing that much money for a bumper right now... Might have to fab one :D Since the LED light I got for the front and rear blinkers kept blowing my fuse, I bought some bright white luminescent bulbs the other day and I am satisfied with the outcome.

Also, I unhooked the exhaust at the flange behind the secondary cats and have the exhaust secured, so you could imagine it's loud as hell but much more satisfying than stock (for now)!

Hey thanks! I took a chance matching the MGM with bronze but I love how it looks! I definitely recommend photoshopping some future mods if you're ever contemplating looks, helped me pull the trigger.

Im going to go outside right now and snap some pictures of all the mods I haven't covered. I just finished building a custom bumper a few weeks ago!

New custom built front tube bumper, finished building it around 2 weeks ago. Still waiting on purchasing a skid plate, I just started a new job so I'm currently away from my local shop. Also threw on 4 LED pods I bought off Amazon that are wired to the factory fog light harness.

Better quality photo of my oil catch can install, still my number 1 favorite mod to date. The crap that accumulates in this little guy blows my mind.

    IMG_2324.jpg

Sway Bar delete. Independent travel is meant to be independent.

    IMG_2325.jpg

Finally installed resistors for my tails, bought the LED's a year ago without the knowledge that I needed resistors.

Old mod that I never pictured, locking rear bed compartments.

Well, I sorta fell off keeping my build thread up to date. Since my last post i have retrofitted my headlights, color matched grill, threw on 1.25inch spacers all around, cab mount chop using B.A.M.F. plates, cut out and powder coated my skid plate, raptor led grill mod, vinyl wrapped armrests in black, and lastly i powder coated my bumper using a box of metallic grey we had laying around the shop which was a damn close match to hem paint. I think thats everything, the list of mods I still want to do are endlessIMG_0994.jpgIMG_3470.jpg

Yep I only have 3m double side adhesive holding it in place and it's never came off! Didn't want to put holes in my seat for nothing
