I am looking for a 2"-2.5" lift kit. I also want the truck to sit level. I believe the TRD Baja suspension (Bilstien 5100s with the rear reservoir shocks) may achieve this, is that correct?

I don't want to go higher than that. Any help is appreciated.

Same here. Wanted 2.5" lift with no rear sag. Went with Bilstein 6112's front, 5100's rear, Wheelers 1.5" AAL, and overload springs left in.

"Best" would be something like KING, ICON, FOX ect.... best lift on a budget...

Do not use the 5100's on the highest setting, you will get 2.5 but the ride is very harsh, it really rides like a pogo stick.

It will level the truck yes, but no it does not use 5100s. The Baja TX Pro suspension uses costom TRD tuned versions of Bilstein 6112 and 5165s, which are a significant upgrade from 5100s. It also runs a stiffer 650lb spring than is often run 5100s, though obviously you can get any spring you want.

I dislike level because if you load the bed you get rear squat/nose high. So I also added a 3 leaf progressive 1.5" AAL on mine, which I think pairs well with the stiffer front coils.

5100s are popular because of their pricepoint and they get the job done, however I don't think anyone would refer to them as best. Going much over 2" and you will be approaching the max UCA alignment limits, which may require spending $400+ on aftermarket UCAs. It all really depends on your budget

No such thing as "Best". Everything has it's pros and cons. It's all about your budget and desired use.

3" OME Lift (887 Coils & Full Dakar rear leaf pack)

Using 885's as recommended by OME would provide around 2.5" lift with no extra weight (skids, steel bumper, winch, etc)

Look through a few forum threads. This question is asked several times a week. :)

Define "best" as it applies to your individual needs. There is a reason why there are dozens upon dozens of "kits" on the market. What fills my needs may not work at all for you, and vice versa....

Wrong, mine rides a little stiffer than stock. Not rough or harsh at all.
