My 2014 dcsb has this crawling out of my window / door? It started soon after getting truck. It is a foam type seal and gets worse the more I use the Window. I am afraid dealer will just cut it and say nothing to worry about.20150829_184603.jpg

Thats what I said. It is about 1/4 inch square and keeps slowly getting longer.

Remove door panel and check it out. Its very easy to do.

Iirc there is foam or some material on the back SIDS of a door panel to probably help with harmonic vibration.

I guess I will take back to dealer and see what they say. Is there any sites that show parts diagrams?

Drink some maple syrup and attempt to fix the problem with a hammer. Otherwise this thread is dead in the water. Saturday nights require a bit more action.

Or take it to the dealer, let them fix it and say to hell with this thread...

I am not at home this weekend, will pull the panel when I get a chance. Especially if it is that easy. Oh yeah, it was supposed to be dcsb not crab. Hate these phones

Super easy to pull the panel. I wouldn't waste my time going to the dealer for that. Google it. There is a video to show you how.

You break it, you own it. The dealer breaks it, it gets replaced.

Had the same thing happen to my 2013. The piece fell out when I rolled the driver's side window down.
