    Hi all,
Reached the end of a bumpy 4wd road the other day and threw it into reverse to park and noticed no back up camera display. It came back later that day and is now working most of the time, but still goes out intermittently. The display and my reverse lights go out together so I am assuming it is the reverse switch in the transmission (this is the one on passenger side of transmission about midway back correct?). I looked at the wires and they appear to be fine. Is the switch the likely culprit? Has anyone else had this problem?

Does this look like what I need to get as a replacement?

    Thanks,
    Josh

If you have a manual transmission yes.

Pray you have a manual as the switch assembly for the automatic is about $300.00.

If you have an automatic transmission No ( The automatic it is built into the Park Neutral Position Switch Assembly ).

    The Automatic looks like this:

Notice the difference in the schematic FSM between the manual and automatic nomenclature.
