I watched a video from them Canada boys wheeling the con in 2nd gens, it was so tight in a bunch of spots, I always wondered how they managed to get out unscathed. Maybe they didn't haha.

You can run up this (mild) trail from carson (Kings Canyon: google maps 4362-4448 National Forest Development Road 039, Carson City, NV 89703) to the summit of hwy 50, cross and go behind the highway maint shops to continue the trail to Genoa peak and even all the way over to Kingsbury grade then down to the valley and loop back north to Carson city.

    This. Good scenic run.
The landslide can be a challenge on 33's though.

Thanks Eric! I'll definitely check that out if I come down, still not for sure yet.

    How big of a landslide?

Nothing too crazy, its like a 30ft section of the trail, just a little narrow with a couple large rocks to snake around and might catch a slider. Spotter helps.

I think it's time for another mod day (/install new gears in Steve's truck day) soon.......

Ooo. Jason needs new gears too (I'm Jason) Do we have someone with the knowledge to do this? I was just going to Pay Samco the $420 bucks to do it, and I would still need to bring him the pumpkin.

hahaha ya I was thinking doing the same actually. Don't know anyone who could do it. But I do know it has to be done right so better to let the pros handle it.
You could bring your truck to my shop though if you wanted and we can pull the pumpkins. Might make it easier to do 2 at the same time...

Probably a smart move. Hey are you the one with the big rig shop?

I ordered leaf pack and shocks for mine and my dads Tacomas. Need somewhere to put them on! I concur. Maybe a mod day is in order
