Agree, the cleaning of the truck afterwards is always the tiring part. But if we wanna keep the trucks looking nice, gotta get down and dirty at times.

 

A couple of times that I've been out there, I've seen the DLNR truck. They were driving in while I was heading out (around the center part). Didn't do nothing, so I kept driving. As for getting caught in there without a permit, they may question how you were able to get in, and most likely tell you about the permit and say you'll need to leave. I'm not sure if they'll issue citations for being inside the gate without a permit on your vehicle though.

 

Had a friggin blast! Looking forward to more weekend treks out to Kaena. Last time I went wheeling was was waaaaaayyy back in the day when Alan Davis was still open, like mid 90's. Took my '95 Grand Cherokee out there a bunch of times.

 

Holy shit did anyone just see something fall out the sky was Sparks and shit like a huge meteor I'm in diamond head side by the time I got my phone was to late

 

So here's an update with servco mapunapuna. Radman is great and made sure the right parts were ordered. He covered both leaf packs even though only one side cracked. He was never belligerent or stand off ish but knew the issues in regards to the recall. while vehicle was being worked on, he called me giving me updates. After about 3 days later he called to make sure everything was fine with the truck which was a huge plus for me since the other service member was a total numbnut. He also reassured me that once the second notice comes out for the recall, to bring the truck back to make sure the new parts are installed so that everything is cared for properly.

If you still have your stock leaf packs and they are failing, give Radman a call and he will take care of you.

 

cool, I'll keep that in mind when my truck goes in for some recalls/inspections.

Goodyear will honor an alignment for 3 years even after you adjust and change your suspension components? Or is it basically guarantee their alignment for 3 years?

 

I go every week couple times sometimes and never got checked yet . But who knows when they'll be around to check .

The boss 4x4 mini group buy the pallet will be picked up tomorrow by Ron {TXnovice} and will be delivered to his works warehouse. So plan to be there by 11am to pick up your stuff.

I think was around 10ish not 100% though as I wasn't checking the time much. Tx novice and deeez were there before I was and then Miyagi was going in when we were headed out

Was morning time. I've only had the truck for a month so haven't gone out there that much but I want to go more.
