Unless his drive to work was not very long. When I took a month long trip on my moto I came back and my car at the time was dead. Jumped it and even after 10 miles on the highway and a couple on city streets it barely cranked over when I stopped for gas. That was a inline 4-cyl 2-liter engine, not as hard to crank as our v6 4.0's!

    enough to go over stuff
After your battery dies its key to drive about an hour to re-charge it and if the battery is completely dead sometimes you have to connect it to a good battery for a few minutes before attempting to start the car. Also if your battery dies more than a couple times its very hard on it. Everytime it dies it takes alittle life off the battery. I have a group 31m diehard platinum battery. Works like a champ. Powers a fridge for days as well as camp lights. Ive also had my rock lights offroad lights and winch running at the same time with no issues.

Well that's good to hear. Hopefully it was indeed just a lemon and there's no underlying problem. I assume they covered it under your warranty?

    Too few to list.
I've owned 3 fox body mustangs over the years. It's really hard to find one in good condition nowadays.
