    I found this thread here:

    Off-Road Tips and Gear List

And I like the idea behind it but it's not geared towards EDC or Camping. I know we have a lot of outdoorsy people on here so let's hear your camping gear lists and some Every Day Carry gear you keep in your trucks 24/7...

I basically wanted to be ready to go camping at any time because I like to be spontaneous like that and just disappear every now and then lol.

I have to look into some kind of lockable storage bins that arent to big to hold more gear and maybe weather proof to keep on roof rack

Look at seatosumit dry bags, I picked up a few at REI this weekend, they are pricey but suppose to be one of the best on the market

Pretty extensive list, @SquirrelyPatriot. I'm debating whether or not to purchase a TruckVault but finding it hard to spend $3,000+ on one. The additional storage space would be most welcome.

@DrFunker, do you keep your rifle case permanently mounted to your roof rack? I was considering a similar setup for storing recovery gear/tools but I feel like it would attract unwanted attention.

Yes, have had it on for a few months now. Am looking forward to seeing how it fairs in the winter. Has been great in the rain.
That is exactly what mine is for. I like the low profile and lockability of it.

Good to know it handles rain well. That's a very reasonable price, too. Thanks for the heads up.
