So I have a brand new 2015 double cab. Finally traded in my 05 access cab. During my first few days of driving, I noticed that the steering wheel is not straight while driving down road straight, it is tilted to the left by 3 or 4 degrees. But the truck does not pull to either side, so I think the alignment is OK. Last night I was looking at the steering just to see if anything was amiss, and noticed that the steering wheel didn't lock when the key is out and aligned straight, like my 05 and most other cars. I thought, what no steering wheel lock? I turned the wheel as far as possible to the right and "click" the wheel locks at a 90 degree angle. This seems very fishy to me. How can a truck come from the factory like that? I will be visiting the dealer soon. Just wondered if this has happened to anyone else.

No grand conspiracy. It's mass produced. Things will be okay.

The steering wheel positioning takes less than 10 minutes (I believe it's one bolt or something).

take back to dealer, took mine back twice before they got it right,, said they only had 2014 software, but they got it right the second time,, nothing worste than a steering wheel not being straight while driving straight,,
