Has anybody had any experience with the mastercraft mxt? I was originally set on some all terrains but at the price of mastercraft I might have to look into those.

Looks good! Those KO2s look so sick. Considering getting those after my KOs wear out. Still probably got another year or two on them though they last so long lol.

So, want to go with this combo, Method Roost 17x8, 0 offset, black and Toyo Open Country 285/70R17, but do I go with A/T, R/T or M/T's? Thoughts?

    Yes sir
All depends on what you intend to use them for. If it's everyday driving with some grid roads, AT's are solid. If it's climbing rocks in the desert, MT's are solid.

Yes, every day driving, some dirt and desert roads and rarely mud, snow and rocks. I really do like the aggressive sidewall on the R/T and M/T, but am having trouble justifying these two over the A/T II.

Love my toyo MT/S. Expensive but the life of these tires(for an MT) justify the cost to me. They are very heavy tires, but very strong.

Basically, MT's will be fine for everyday driving as long as you don't care about your MPG's dropping and a much louder tire.

I like the konig's in both colours, maybe the gunmetal for your rig?

Not a huge fan of the five star's.

Nice truck and I like the look of the wheels and tires. I'm thinking of doing the same. Are you running stock suspension and what is the road noise like with those tires?

Been reading many reviews and think I have narrowed my new 265 or 285 75R16 tire purchase down to 3 models based on traction, road noise, durability and price: General Grabber AT2, Cooper Discoverer AT3 or Toyo Open Country AT. Anyone have any comparative analysis to share on these choices?
