With all this talk about tires, I thought I'd show you all what brown dropped off about an hour ago. Yeah, it's not for the Tacoma. They are for an old Polaris Trail Boss 4x4 I picked up early this summer. Actually only 2of the 4 came so far. After a bit of work, if one would consider a carb, top end, rebuilding the front end, yada, yada, yada a bit of work; the old goat is running good. Got a plow for it too. Now if CT had places to ride, I'd be happy...image.jpgimage.jpg

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Ahhh, I should've put it together, you'll be at PNSY. You'll see me around the base when I get back CONUS. Portsmouth is my hood, and I've got the shop you're looking for just 30 minutes north of PNSY. Archies Off Road in Wells, ME. Trust them with my life, quality mom and pop place, been a customer since 2001/02.

Mike I know two different sets of trails in stoughton . If you wanted to get some dirt on those tires. I used to ride my atv out there and never had a issue . Let me know if you want the address .

The RI spot always has a ton of atv's/ dirt bikes out too. I think for the most part it's legal trails too.

Yeah, I'll give it a go! The bike should be rideable soon and I have a plate for it already.
Is that the place we went for a couple taco meets? Might not be bad to start there in case I need to get the truck in to get the bike if it breaks down, haha.

Sweet... Be careful with the big bore kits on the 350. There are a couple, but the bottom of the cyl sleeve shatters with the bigger kit. I've read that the 389cc kit is safe. You have to swap the carb out to a pumper carb from the off-road bike. The dual sports have a slide carb.

If there are no signs saying no motorized vehicles then I ride them. Occasionally we go around some gates. Anything with an open gate, and or no signage we ride. I'm in western mass now tho, it's a lot different out here.

I doubt I'd do a big bore kit unless the bike blows up and actually needs a rebuild kit. I didn't know about the cylinder sleeve shattering with some of the kits. I stumbled across a thread with a 480 cc kit! Holy balls, 480!

I did order the Raptor peacock also, screw the vacuum petcock. If the bike quits shortly after starting, I can't get it going again, it almost seems like it loses fuel and can't get it flowing again quickly enough.

I changed out the vacuum petcock too. It leaked fuel into the carb all the time and wouldn't close. Are you on thumper talk?
