Green Tree Fab will be offering ComeUp Winches to the TW members at a premium rate starting today 09-01-15 until midnight 10-01-15! These are a phenomenal accessory for most folks and a downright must have for any off road enthusiast. If you've ever wheeled with a group and been the only guy with a winch you know how much of a hero you get to be, you also know the amount of time it takes to get a large group across that nasty bog, so tell your buddies to get their own winches here! I use my winch all the time, more often than not I'm actually working around the property of my home when I get the most use from it! Pulling stumps, laying trees down, moving equipment, they are a workhorse!

ComeUp has been building industrial winches for over 40 years, they are no stranger to this market. You may not have heard their name but mark my words that will change soon. These guys are putting out a product of the utmost quality, winning all kinds of competitions with them, and not compromising in integrity. There are a short list of companies that I absolutely love dealing with and ComeUp is pretty high on that list. Behind the great product comes fantastic post-purchase support, which to me, is even more important than initial buy.

The winch I'm offering is the Seal GEN2 9.5rs, it will fit behind almost every aftermarket bumper provided you remote mount the solenoid box. This winch comes standard with synthetic line and a wireless remote, no more messing with the cord in your cab! Here's the description straight from ComeUp:

    Seal Gen2 9.5rs.jpg
    • 12V DC severe duty winch rated at 9,500 lb pulling meets or exceeds your expectations.
    • Heavy duty series wound motor equipped with thermal switch alters when motor over-heating.
    • 4 equally positioned pin holes with a stainless steel ergonomic T-handle make it possible to clock in 90 degree Increments.
    • Water-proof remote control with thermometric LED indicator w/5 m cord
    • Tough aluminum die cast housings withstand strength of 2.0 x rated load of winch
    • The U.S. Germany, U.K. France, etc patented mechanical cone brake outside the drum expedites heat dispersion. The greater the load on the rope, the greater amount of braking is generated by the mechanism.
    And here are the Specs:
Rated Line Pull 9,500 lbs (4,309 kg) single line
    Motor 5.0 hp / 3,730 w 12V Series Wound
    Gear Ratio 3-Stage Planetary 159:1
    Clutch (freespooling) Rotating Ring Gear
Brake (outside the drum) Automatic, full load CBS (Cone Brake Structure)
Winch Construction Aluminum Die Cast Housing with Steel Drum
    Drum Size 2.5" x 9" (63.5 x 228 mm)
Control Both built-in digital two way signal wireless remote control and waterproof remote with thermometric indicator LED w/17' (5 m) cord
    Rope Type Synthetic Rope SK-75
    Rope Size 3/8" x 100' (10 mm x 30.5 m)
    Mounting Bolt Pattern 10" x 4.5" (254 x 114 mm)
Winch Weight 61.7 lb (28 kg)
Gross Weigh 89.1 lb (40.5 kg)
Warranty Limited lifetime warranty for mechanical components, three (3) year warranty for electrical components
    Box Dimensions 26.9" x 8.2" x 16.9" (682 x 209 x 430 mm )

Now for the sweet part; the deal.

This winch retails at $1,255.95 but for a month I can sell this winch for $995.99 with FREE SHIPPING to the lower 48 and discounted freight to Hawaii (Alaskans can deal with me direct on freight and I'll get it up here on a stock order). If that isn't icing enough on the cake @ComeUp was generous to sweeten the pot even further by adding an awesome ComeUp Hoodie to every order placed at no extra cost!
    ComeUp Hoodie.jpg
So in total you get; almost $300 dollars in savings, FREE SHIPPING to most places, and a hoodie!

If you're interested in this deal put your name on this list (copy/paste it in your post) and PM me with your username, address, and real name and phone number; once we get to the closure date of the group buy I'll have everyone contact me at the shop to collect payment and solidify shipping details!

Come Up makes an outstanding winch. I have one myself and absolutely love it pulling power, the way it is built and the fact that it is always ready to work. This is an awesome deal. I will be sharing the link for sure.

That's a pretty slick looking bumper!!
Man, that looks crazy wide. I'm sure it would fit behind mine though. I ordered a Pelfreybilt hybrid for my 2nd gen.

Yeah the Addicted Off Road Bumpers have a smaller opening for winches. Also keep in mind what sets Come Up apart from the crowd is that they have an external clutch brake vs a drum brake. That can make them a bit wider then other winches but the performance is that much better. That being said there is plenty of room on your Pelfrey bumper for a Come Up.

Thanks @CoTacoTRD for the information and kind words! These things are beasts, make no mistake, but I'd be really surprised if it didn't fit in your Pelfrey.

I had this exact winch on my Tacoma and have another one on my Land Cruiser. These are fantastic winches! This GB price is a great deal too, if you've been shopping for a premium winch you should jump on this. There might be "other brands" that are cheaper but do you really want to have a winch that you wonder if it's gonna work when you need it? That money saved on a budget winch means nothing when you're left stranded. Good luck with the GB.

Here's mine in my 1st Gen Tacoma with Trail Gear bumper.

I did have to notch my grill just a bit for the clutch handle, but that's mostly because of the Trail Gear bumper. Other bumpers my not have this issue.

Thanks Adam! They really are top notch folks, if it's good enough to go to the north pole, it can probably handle pulling you out of the mud hole.

There are so many winches on their site. How did u pick this one?

Mine will be hidden inside the bumper so there is no need for the fancy housing as long as I can mount the solenoid somewhere (maybe inside the bumper).

Good question! A few reasons, its waterproof, has synthetic line, wireless remote, and it's by far our best seller. So it comes down to fitment and features, this has the most features and still fits.

The 9.5 seems like a nice size for the Tacoma. Is the 12.5 series overkill?
I'm guessing the "r" means remote and "s" means synthetic. Is the "i" for the housing?

'I' is the integrated solenoid, correct, that makes it a bit too tall for our bumpers without modifying the top section of the center of your bumper. 12.5 wouldn't be a bad option, but most folks with our size trucks opt toward the 9.5 or below. You'd have to check whether or not it would fit in the relentless bumper. I think it might but I couldn't say for sure without measuring one.

the 12.5 is probably overkill on a Tacoma and could be harder to fit. You are correct with the naming stuff for RSI. R=wireless remote, S=synthetic rope, I=integrated solenoid

    Ben beat me to it.
