    well I went back in to fix my USB inop problem. took less than 10 minutes...getting proficient LOL...

    the USB/aux jack module is the square grey plug btw.

    I noticed there was a similar plug end as the GPS antenna provided by fltruck...so I unplugged the provided antenna, and plugged in the stock plug. NAV works fine, must be in the shark fin or somewhere else on the vehicle.

    the NAV system sure leaves alot to be desired after being a garmin user for years.

    in other news, when doing the install/swap...remember to remove a cd you had in the old unit first ..LOL

    when I sell my stock entune plus, some lucky buyer will be getting a Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms CD....that's special LOL:D

    So I put one of these units in a 2012... The question is has anyone else done this as I the factory shark fin plug is different. Any suggestions???

    It should all plug and play the antenna fl truck sent me I did not need as the shark fin was I guess the gps too

    Correct! The connector is blue and does fit where it should. The rest of the unit works perfectly. When powered up under XM it says check antenna! I verified with my old unit that the blue plug is in fact the shark fin lead

    having an issue....I usually run with headlight on. and until the other day, the nav screen would stay in Day mode, now when headlights are on, it goes into night mode (dark colors hard to even see the nav screen/roads)...I do not have day mode checked in options etc.


    anyone clues?
