Thanks, do you need payment in full or just a deposit?

So i have a $2.44 fix that killed 99% of my wind noise, while I'm waiting for the new deflector ( my fault, I changed my mind after the light bar came and asked Zach for a 40" instead of 30")

Foam pipe insulation totally killed all the noise.

So how many crossbars come with the double cab? How many do you recommend for a 14'race sup? Only wileighs 35 lbs but I'm sure there will be some drag. Thinking of mountaing a Yakima sup taxi to carry one or 2 boards. Also what's the best set up for a 40" light bar? Only made it through about 30 pages so far so sorry for the questions
    Thanks!

Standard rack comes with 6 bars. More than plenty for a sup especially if you do the HD bars.

Any single row 40" lightbar will work fine and there are a multitude of opinions on which is best. I sell heretic studios lights because they are locally designed and made, have excellent performance and looks, and are priced very well considering the quality of the light.

Wonder if the foam pipe, behind the deflector, will do the same thing. Next on my list! Deflector looks too sweet to not have it up there!

1-1/4". It's almost enough to wrap around an HD bar, but leaves just enough space to have one of the t-slots still available for use, if needed.

So I had this weird driveline (or so I thought) vibration between 35-45mph that happened when accelerating, decelerating, breaking and coasting. Was gonna take it to the dealer today, but decided to take the rack off just in case.... and now vibration is gone... Can not reproduce it at all.

Not sure what I did wrong when installing it, or maybe its simply because I am driving without the deflector and all these T-slots create wind turbulence between 35-45mph, but I guess I'm going to leave the rack off until the deflector and the light come and will try again. Super weird.

I actually removed the last bar altogether the other day to make sure it was not the cause. Did not change anything.

Yeah, it goes away completely. Only experiencing between 35-45mph. Also have a foam pipe insulation on the front cross bar, so that may be causing. I dunno. I'll just wait until the rest of the things gets here.

I have run it without the deflector and it howls like crazy but I have never had any vibrations.

Now that I think about it, i'm pretty sure I started feeling the vibrations after I put on the foam pipe. Before that it was just crazy howling.

Zach, anyway to fab a deflector that sits in bottom or middle position, reaches the same distance as when the current deflector is in lowest position, and runs all the way to the top of the rails? Just covers as much area as possible? Maybe no cutouts on the sides?

I'll figure out the noise one day. I did the bungee wrap across the front bar yesterday (8' thing of bungee cord). Don't think it changed a thing. Figured it'd look better then the foam insulation.

Gotta drop the deflector to the bottom again and see if that helps. After that, it's going to be moving the front bar back a ways to at least get it off my head.

A few audio upgrades, tinted windows, remote start because it f'n hot in Texas! 6in Fabtech DB lift, 17x9 Fuel Trophy wheels, 315/70/17 Duratracs,BAMF 80in sliders w/kickout, Prinsu cab rack w/30in Heretic light bar, custom bedside decals, custom hi-lift jack brackets, US Offroad front bumper w/winch, bed rack with RTT, CB, Short wave base station, Ultra gauge, color matched grille surround, an ungodly amount of recover gear, ARB fridge, hood struts, RotoPax, traction pads.
Again, not sure the big issue with the noise. With all the mods we do to our trucks I don't expect anything to be the same as factory. The ones that are having the noise problems, are you carrying anything on the rack, traction pads, recovery gear, Pelican case, etc... I'm thinking that the gear on the rack will break up the wind and help/change the noise.
