When we have >50 committed buyers. I'd like to go more than 50 because some might back out. Once we have >50 on the list I will contact the vendor. The vendor will issue a code that you will use to but a gauge. We have 7 days from the time the code is issued for at least 50 people to pay. If 50 don't pay in that 7 day window, we are a no-go. Once 50 have paid orders will ship.

What happens if 50 don't pay within 7 days? Do the ones that did pay get a refund / credit / reverse charge?

I'd like to say the charge won't be processed till the 50 deal goes through. They will just keep the info till enough do or don't. The last two went through so I see no issue. Use a credit card, not a credit card that is linked to your bank account. Easy peasy.

Anybody have any idea what the cables are for I checked the Web site but cannot find a description on what exactly those cables are for? Isolation cable and such? Can anybody tell me what they do. And I said I was in for a plus but changed my mind and want the MX

What cables are you talking about? There is one cable that comes out of the gauge and connects into your OBDII plug under your dash by the parking brake. It supplies power and data to the gauge.

You can have any gauge you choose. When we get the code you will go to their website, pick the gauge you want, enter the code and BAM! it's yours. Provided at least 49 others do the same within the week.

Those isolation cables described here and here, appears to be used if the UltraGauge causes problems with older vehicles that do not have a modern standard protocol. Click through the links provided for a clearer answer.
