So I just picked up my new 2015 DCSB TRD Sport and on the ride home I noticed a vibration on the highway which feels like a tire is out of balance. Passenger seat was shaking and it's really noticeable around 70 mph. Even driving at slower speeds I can notice some vibration/shake now that I'm aware of it. I know it's a truck but it doesn't feel normal. I'm going to have dealer check it out. They have a road force balancer that I'm hoping will do the trick. Anyone else have this issue their new Tacoma? Sucks I need to go back already...only 50 miles on it.

I'm also experiencing slight wind noise from drivers door upper corner near my ear. Is this a common issue others also experience? If I push on door seal it quiets down

That sucks, get your tires balanced and go from there. I also just bought a 15 off road and I don't have any wind noise at all, it sounds like your door is out of adjustment.

I'd wait a bit on the rebalance. When I got new tires on, I had a slight 60+ mph vibration as well. I called them the next morning to tell them they need to do it again, but they told me that new tires sometimes do that, and to just drive on it a bit longer to see if it goes away. Sounded like bullshit to me, but sure enough after a few days it went away.

Does the wind noise sound like a kazoo? That's pretty common with strong crosswinds.

Strong cross winds do create some funky noises otherwise no problems.

I called the dealership this morning and they said to bring it in and they'll check it out. My appointment is on Friday afternoon so I'll know more then. As for the wind noise it's very slight but enough to be annoying. It doesnt have to be at highway speeds to hear it. I'll take a closer look at the door seal tonight. When I put pressure on it while driving the noise went away so I'm not too concerned. Coming from 4Runner Limited and didn't have these issues :)

Come to think of it now I did have the kazoo sound one time in a really high gusty side wind. I was like "WHAT WAS THAT" !!!!!!!!!!!! then forgot all about it. Overall though I do not have any wind noise that's noticeable.

Check the tire pressure. Often, as in everytime I've bought a new car, the pressure is way high.
This will make every road imperfection noticeble and harsh.

That's a good point and one I haven't checked yet. It definitely seems to ride different from when I test drove it. I can feel every imperfection in road whereas before it seemed smoother to me. Tired could have been pumped up too much when dealer prepped it. Will check when I get home tonight.

My tires were way over pressure when I picked my truck up new. I think they were close to 40psi.

Sounds like you have the same issue I have with my DCSB OR package bought on August 12. I took my truck in to 3 different dealers four times (lemon law in NV is four attempts for same issue). They tried static balance, dynamic, and road force. The conclusion is the tires have excessive runout (which means it is not perfectly round). The last dealer said I need to contact BFGoodrich and get replacement tires. Discount Tire contacted BFG and I'm getting 100% replacement credit for all four tires. I'll be doing that sometime next week because Discount doesn't have the tires I want in stock.

29 psi is the recommended on the sport for all four tires. Good luck with the new truck.

Ok, so tires were inflated to 38 psi. I dropped them down to 30 and will see how it drives tomorrow morning. Hopefully that was the issue.

Also, it's not wind noise with the drivers door, it's a squeak from door weatherstripping.

Very good. These are small issues that you will over come. You bought a good truck. Just some minor bugs . I use vinylex protectant on the vinyl and rubber items on my truck & have had great results . Made by lexol Part# 1215.
Also I run my tires @29psi and have no issues.

New Navigation DVD/CD/TV/AV/Bluetooth Stereo and seat mod spacers, 1" hubcentric spacers, seat heaters....
could be driveshaft too, also a not so uncommon problem with some of these trucks....

Well it seems better with the air pressure at 29 psi, but can still feel like a tire is out of balance. Maybe it's normal and I'm just not used to driving a truck, but I had a Nissan Pro4x a few years ago and it drove much better than my Tacoma does right now. I'll have dealer check it out tomorrow.
