Hello, all. I'm still trying to fix my gas mileage.

Long story short, I'm going to use a multimeter to test my coolant temperature sending unit. I'm suspicious that the wires are yanked loose a bit causing it to read incorrectly.

Does anyone have some sort of list for what voltage the sensors should be at on our trucks? Or do I have to purchase some sort of repair manual?

The sensor went bad and my mileage dropped to about 12. I replaced the sensor, the truck runs fine now but I'm only getting 15 mpg. I was getting 23 prior to all of this. I remember when I first had to unplug the sensor it was difficult to get off and I yanked the wires a bit.

If interested in the repair read here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bad-gas-mileage-fix-problem-but-still-bad-mileage.384132/
