I had Toyota install at P2 prodigy controller before I picked up my truck. I hate that they put it to the right of the steering column-I am always knocking it when I wear my boots. They said it was the recommended place to put it. I've always had the brakes to the left of my steering wheel. I have to do gymnastics to even see the darn thing now. I have a 2015 Tacoma, access cab.

It looks like the parking brake could be in the way if they were to move it to the left? Where do you all have your controller? Also, it appears to not be working. The screen remains dark when I turn on my truck. It is my understanding that I should have some type of code, even when my trailer is not hooked up. All my former controllers had a code when I turned my truck on. Thanks for any input.

I had mine on the left. Near the parking brake, but not in the way of it.

    You could easily move yours.

That doesn't help much. I looked to the left and don't see a lot of room. Between the parking brake and the hood release, there is not enough room It would be great to see some pics. I go to Toyota tomorrow - they already told me they put it where it needs to go so I will have to do some arguing I guess. I just need another place to tell them to put it; I've looked at my truck and don't see a whole lot of options. It was a lot easier in my 2002 Tacoma-had a manual and the controller was on the left side, not in the way of anything
