I've been stuck on trying to make a sturdy rod holder for primarily the surf and meanwhile take up the least amount of space possible. I usually have about 4-5 rods when I fish. I have a toolbox which doesn't seem like a bad place to mount the rod holders to, but I plan on placing a shovel with quickfist mounts. Please post pics of your rod holders! I know there are threads on TW, but it never hurts to have one more!
