so what exactly did you do to yours? I like the way it looks I just wish I could go a little higher without causing any problems taking it off road.

I wonder how good it rides with the 3" lift and the 1" body lift. I'm gonna keep this in mind. maybe I could always put like a 2 or 3 inch body lift on it. I just wonder how it would look, drive, and perform.

I wouldn't go too high with a body lift. If you go offroad, the geometry changes and you risk rolling over

I would go 1"-1.5" body lift

So I'm looking at the bds suspension for the tacoma and it says it has high clearance crossmembers, ductile iron steering knuckles, belly skid plate, differential support brackets, top strut spacers, bump stop extensions, brake line brackets, rear tapered block kit and rear bed shocks. Sino dont think it has a drop bracket.

It is. The crossmember is the "drop bracket" because you need to cut the stock crossmember and bolt or weld on the new one.

I was thinking that it was the crossmembers but I wasn't 100% sure.

Supposedly the 6" suspension lift by rough country increases the ground clearance.

I don't believe it. No 6" lift would have more GC than a 3" lift.

Rough country isn't that great of a brand either. The ride is rough..pun intended

OP keeps saying offroading as well as DD. That essentially means prepare for off road ventures. If off road is happening, listen carefully to what these veterans advise because they have plenty experience with suspension on Tacomas and will not lead you astray. Full OME + UCAs + 1" body lift?.. After you've ripped your boots once and modded them to be less prone to ripping you may be fine...

Looks come at extreme prices. Way cheaper to pay a one time fee on a properly handled surgery than it is to spend a lifetime on cheap cosmetics;)

I did a lot of homework on TW and elsewhere before I began modifying the suspension qualities on my Tacoma. From experience, if your trying to maintain or improve the handling and performance of your ride while increasing your GC, dont exceed a 3 inch suspension lift. Anything higher than this requires major mods to the bones of the truck, and throws of the COG.
