TRD supercharger, how/where to still buy? Toyota still flash ECUs?

    You can install the SC yourself in about 10-12hrs in your garage if it's your first time. $1900 for an install is crazy even in CA. Any Toyota dealership can reflash the computer and it takes about .5hr labor. I paid $80 for the reflash a couple of months ago at Oakland Toyota One.

    With my SC and running 315s, the stock gears is what's holding it back. Some manly gears will help it provide some needed low end grunt. I plan to run 4.88s in the near future.

    I'll revise my statement, I've seen 2 since the fanboy rush of the program being discontinued.

    V8 not required, aluminum Eco boost V6 FTW. ;)

    Very true, if you are buying a truck for speed/power/capacity the Tacoma is definitely the wrong truck, even supercharged. I bought mine to fit the tight trails of the PNW and haul homeowner duty payloads. I don't need the full size and it wouldn't fit on the trails I like to run.
