Well, two steps forward, and one step backwards. Isn't that always the case?

The manufacturer forgot a few key pieces to the puzzle that are going to delay things a bit. The glass shipped without the anti shatter film or the adhesive pads for the installation. I'm sure they'll make it right in the next couple of days, but it's always something.

I reckon if you had any updates you'd have already shared, but I'm going to poke you anyway. Any luck getting the previous issues rectified with the manufacturer?

I should be ready to ship by early next week. I'm still out on the road doing a couple events. I should receive the last piece of the puzzle tomorrow.

Picked up a set of these mirrors this past weekend. My first use was running offroad trails out in west Texas. I loved them! They worked great for seeing what those rear tires are doing coming off ledges and still maintaining visibility on the rest of the side of the truck. Highway driving takes a little getting used to but the mirrors definitely show you what's in your blind spot.

Direct from the source. :D We wheeled Trees Ranch this past weekend and I had them with me. That was my second wheeling trip in a week and I have to say the mirrors are awesome for off-roading. I thought they were great on road, but they excel in the dirt. It was a little unnerving to see how much my sidewalls were flexing in the back though.

I finally have the mirrors, shipping boxes, padded inserts, and defrost films in stock. I will list them on the website tonight. I appreciate everyones patience while I got these off the ground.

Ok, guys and gals, the EZView mirrors for the Tacoma are ready to ship!

I still need to update the page with installation instructions and photos, but it's good enough to get the ball rolling.

    http://www.trailtoys.net/ezview-mirrors.html

You have three options when ordering, plain glass, heated glass, or just the heating elements. The heating elements will not be attached to the mirror when you receive them, but they're just a peel and stick installation. I will be uploading a video this week to show how to pop the stock glass out and put the new glass in it's place. It's not difficult, but there is some gentleness required.

Thank you for your support, and I hope you enjoy these new mirrors as much as I do.

    -Nathan

Probably a solid month, if not two. I have a set on the Toytec FJ, but the shape wasn't quite right. Working on them now.

Just about to pull the trigger, heated film works with the heated Sienna glass/timer mod right?

It should. Here are the pictures of the defrosting films. As long as you can connect to the prongs on the glass you'll be good to go.
