    Not sure about the serial numbers, but the tag says 2013 Toyota Tacoma RC, which makes me think Regular Cab. The bed is the same, isn't it?
    Or did they make Regulars in 2013?

    I think they stopped the RC models for 2014. But it also says RC SB so does that mean short bed? I thought the RC and AC both had the 6 foot LB. Have you tried looking up the model number with ARE? Also, if it's not that far to drive, may be best to just take it for a test fit.

    They did make regular cabs in 2013 (I owned one).

    RC = Regular Cab?
    SB = Short bed?

    Best thing to do is measure your bed and then ask the seller to measure the shell.

    Regular cabs and Access Cabs have different shapes to the back of the cab. Judging by how straight the front of the topper is, it's definitely made for a RC.

    So the person is selling something, but doesn't know the size or won't measure it for a potential buyer? Hmmmmmm... I think I would look elsewhere (unless it's one terrific bargain).

    I just got the answer to this question from an A.R.E. dealer while making sure we could put my topper on a friend's truck:

    SB = short bed, but that would be the 6' bed on a Tacoma. Apparently, Tacomas come with an "extra short bed" (5') or a "short bed" (6') in A.R.E. speak.

    As you all figured out RC = regular cab (Found out I've been using a topper designed for a regular cab on my access cab for years. My truck came with it and it's worked fine, but this may explain why getting rid of leakage has been so challenging, even given the usual issues.)

    The last letters refer to the model/series. For example, mine is a TW series and it reads: 2012 Toyota Tacoma RC SB TW (My Tacoma is a 2012, so obviously the cap wasn't built for it.)
