Is there a TW discount for DMZ? Kits up for like $1500 now is that as cheap as it gets?

It's been 'on sale' like that for a while, but when I picked mine up from Tim he said he's going to be bumping the price up soon, as he's not making much money on just the kits, he gets it all through installs these days.

Definitely. He met up with me up in NorCal to deliver my kit since he happened to be driving up here to visit family. I drove 2 hours instead of paying $200 shipping.

Yeah Tim said the same to me about bumping up the price back in December, he really is super helpful and good people. I've dealt with him a number of times and hes been more than helpful.

On another note Im very hesitant to do much with the truck out in Glamis other than take some open roads to olds and shit like that, how intense do the glamis trips get? I lose all common sense in the dunes when it comes to 4 wheels. I love riding my dirtbike out there but I swear put me on a quad and I'll roll it so that scares me taking my truck out lol

Ya I've heard nothing but good things about DMZ kit. Was just curious about camburg kit since I know their shit is good too, but I'm not gonna wait for it haha.

So far so good. I did gusset the lower mounts to the chassis the best I could to keep them from flexing. Pulled off the entire back last week to rebuild the shocks, battery relocation, check for any cracks or damages and it all looks fine. I have put about 5k miles of desert abuse on this setup and only problems I've had have been motor mounts, alignment, and steering rack.

What kind of valving are you running and what diameter shocks? I'm revalving compression a bit lighter because it seems to be packing.

just got a simple lift on her
99% of the trucks that go to the glamis meet do not venture in the dunes. There are a select few 4x4 ones that will dune it. 2wd trucks do not belong in the dunes, you will get stuck very very fast.
its definitely alot of fun though, i would bring your dirtbike as well.

It's been like 6 years and a lot of beers since Tim did the revalve on them, I was packing and the rear wasnt dropping out fast enough so he did the rebound more than the compression in mine. I would call him and ask I'm sure he kept notes on what he did or I can look at the reciepts of what we bought at Kartek. Will hit you up later if I find it
