    Have any of you guys made compound butter for your steaks? I always have some in the freezer. Latest was blue cheese and caramelized onions. You mix that stuff with a stick of soft butter. Roll it into a log with way paper and freeze. When you make your steaks cut off a slice and throw it on the steak after u flip it. Butter is the key to a good steak but compound butter takes it to the next level and you can make just about any kind you want

    Yes, my favorite is with Gorgonzola which is obviously basically the same as your blue cheese. Yummy!
