I purchased a Subaru Forester last fall thinking it would be the last vehicle purchase in a while for me...I was wrong. It consumed oil and the dealer's gauge for caring is 1 quart for a thousand miles... I'm sorry but that is too much oil to burn for a car with barely over 10k miles on it.

My wife and I shopped around and decided on a Tacoma double cab. I test drove the TRD but wasn't thrilled with the bumpy suspension. The SR5 seemed to be a great compromise. I found one on the lot today, in gray, with navigation, and pulled the trigger on it. I hope to own this truck for at least 5 years or so and it will be used as a daily driver, a towing machine, and sometimes on trails when I get to drive on them.

First mods will be running boards (already ordered some OEM ones) and a bed cover. From there, probably just little things, like front window tint and blacking out the front emblem.

Here it is on the lot before I drove it away.

I just traded my 2014 PreRunner SR5 for a 2015 TRD Off Road and you are right about the suspension difference. My PreRunner was noticeably smoother than the TRD OR. If you don't need the crawling capabilities you'll be happier with the PreRunner. I've had 4 Tacomas. You picked a great truck. Enjoy it!
