    I'm stumped on how to install my cb radio cable from the back of the truck to the inside please help

    I installed mine in the front left corner of the bed:



    I ran the cable thru the rubber plug in the cab that leads into the driver-side storage area. Afterwards, I sealed it up with silicone sealant so it wouldn't leak when raining or driving thru deep water.

    Okay I have the wire ran under the truck thru the drain plug how do I get to the radio do I have to cut a hole in the carpet.

    6 inch Douche Bag lift...what else do I need?
    I mounted my antenna in the corner of the bed (driver side) and ran the cable in the open cubby hole (driver side) after drilling a small hole. The cable then ran along the frame. I drilled a hole under the driver seat and sealed the hole with black RTV. Tucked the cable under the center console to the back of the CB. Good luck with whatever you choose.

    No. It only took me about 30 minutes to do the whole thing. Didn't even think about taking photos...

    I pulled the carpet out of the bottom, cut a hole in the plastic, and then re-installed the carpet where the CB isn't.


    My antenna is bolted to the side of my toolbox.

    I'm getting less then 1.5 on my swr readings is that good or bad

    as low as possible, with 2:1 being about the upper limit of acceptable.

    1.5:1 isn't bad at all, and is about what I've got on mine at the moment.
