Did you mix up the wires - making them fire at the wrong time?

I've read several threads where those lights come on together - I don't think that part is too big of a deal.

I'd go ahead and change them out. If the CEL light and misfire continues, then continue with the diagnosis.

How many miles were on the plugs you took out? Since they are copper plugs the recommended schedule is every 30k miles (assuming you have a V6)

Your not the first. How many miles were on them? I wouldn't worry too much about how the old plugs looked if they had been in there for a long time.

Oil on the plugs isn't a big deal. Doesn't mean your engine is shot, just that you may eventually need a new valve cover gasket. But that's on down the road. Replace your pcv valve for 10 bucks first and that may give you the relief that you need. Plugs are easy to replace once you get the hang of it. The forum is great and full of knowledgable folks.

The oil is coming from leakage past the gaskets around the spark plug tubes in the valve cover. If there is any pooling of oil within the tubes around the spark plug isolators, it can cause a misfire. You might need to replace the valve cover gasket(s) before long.

It should not pool. There is a small hole on the side of the head from the bottom of the spark plug hole to the outside of the plug to allow any water etc to drain out of the spark plug hole.

all plugs have been changed no leakage yet im thinking after 95,000 miles there was a little oil and dirt that made it into the cylinders I think everything is fine
