Latest update from my dealer has my truck arriving on the 15th. Depending on what time of day and the time it takes to go through Post Dilivery Inspection I should have it on the 16th or 17th.

I don't feel quite so bad knowing everyone else is waiting just like me. Once pics start showing up, I'll be fidgeting that much more. Mine build started 8/21 and should be here late September. Don't have a specific date yet.

dwilhite, I would bet that you see it sooner than later. It only takes 3 wks after build to reach destination. They have this down to a science. I'm willing to bet that it will be there the 10th. Mine should magic-ly show up on Tuesday after the Toyotathon Labor Day Sale.

My sales gal just called and told me the delivery date showed the 18th but could be earlier. Better than EOM.

Are you guys getting informed of your delivery date before or after it's been built?

I assume mine is being built now. She told me it didn't show as completed yet.

Mine has a build date of 9/16 and I don't know if I should bother calling and asking about an arrival date yet or not.

Nope. All they will give you is an estimated date from build based on previous experience.

What do you guys think of buying a 2016 model 7148 for 3.75% off of MSRP? Is this a fair price considering they are brand new and will command MSRP sales prices?

If you are happy with the deal then go for it. That's all that matters.

Heard from my dealer today that only a few will arive around the 28th Sept.

Toyota is trying to give all the dealers a shot for the first batch with only a few
    at first for each dealer.

I ordered a Limited 4x4 and should be in around Oct 14. I also understand
they are very rare and not too many around.

Has anyone taken delivery yet, also heard the start production is Sept 10.

I completely missed this thread. Thanks.

I feel like I should be happy with it, but I want to try and do a little better.

The truck I ordered today is already built and in the system, It is going to a NC dealer....My dealer is going to try to have it routed here. If not I am looking at early November. I can wait. Enjoying the MX 5 while the weather is great.

I saw an ND at the Mazda dealer on the way to drop my mtn bike off at the dealer. I didn't have time to stop for a test drive, though.

    Don't bother....Its not worth $32K
My Tacoma money was supposed to be spent on an ND...In fact I was looking forward to the ND , then bought an NC with 19K miles and the Power retractable Hard top...ND fever was all over the Miata forums (like GEN 3 Fever but worse) When it finally came out I did not 'See" $12,000 more than my NC. In fact I saw a lessser car in many ways, so I decided to sell my 15 Tacoma and put half of the money towards a 16 Tacoma. Money MUCH better spent (and in Tacoma world , "Invested") I no longer want the ND until they come out with the PRHT and I find one used. They depreciate like hell. So now instead of waiting for the ND of which my dealer has seven unsold, I look forward to my 16 TRD Sport......and there I WILL SEE the money for sure...40 more HP, better MPGs, Up to date tech and the list goes on....

    I have a 3 year old daughter and a 1 year old FR-S. A 2+2 is a necessity. I still want to test drive an ND. :)

I very nearly bought an NC MX-5 back in 2010 when I sold my GTI. My wife talked me out of it since she was getting baby crazy and I knew the FT86 was coming out soon. I put the money toward my mortgage instead.
