    Little late, but I used 18ft and got to my location right below the ash tray, ideally 20 or 25ft would have let me run it perfectly and let me tuck it more out of the way. I would recommend using a location other than the tail light though. Mine seems like it could perform better if I did move it to the hood.

    Also, I ordered pretty much everything to rebuild the front end. New UBJs, LBJs, calipers, rotors, pads, CV boots, and manual hub seals. This bitch is getting back to normal if I have to run myself and anyone willing to help me ragged.

    I'll keep it short, i need advice. 2.7 had a lot of blowback yesterday when i got home. now i think the engine is seized. I took off part of my exhaust to believe to see oil. So can it be oil and if it's not turing over is it seized?

    Edit. So I put the tranny in N and tried turning the crank. Nothing not even an inch. So I guess its 3.4L shopping and LT build on hold until it's up and running. Now Im going to have to do some homework on a swap.

    Or do I go all out and get a fully built engine from LCE..... thoughts. Keeping with toyota engines.

    I bought the four rubber trim pieces at toyotaonlineparts.com They were available quite a few places online. I looked at the price of the parts and the price of shipping and went with them. I was going to buy the OEM red and blue plastic clips from them too, but when I added the clips the shipping price went way up...... which is why I bought aftermarket clips elsewhere.

    I took mine in. It wasn't a pleasant experience. Now it revs up when starting and the air blower vibrates the steering wheel when on high. Bummer, Taking it back in the morning.

    Not really sure what happened to make the passenger side caliper seize up, but it did. So in the spirit of being safe I am going to replace the front end components in pairs. The grease in the manual hubs seems to have been contaminated and grinds when in Free so since I had them locked in for so long I figured it would be a good idea to replace the cracking CV boots. The LBJs and UBJs are just old so I figured why not do em while I'm in there.

    Do you recall if the actual part number was different for what you got?

    The part is one of the few places where there is no difference between a 1st gen and a 2nd gen.
