Toyota Expanding To Sixth Day Production

This is to accommodate the high demand for the Tacoma and Tundra. Mainly the Tacoma though. I remember reading GM doing something similar with the Canyon/Colorado a few months ago. Probably explains why Ford is bringing back the Ranger. They underestimated the demand for a mid-size truck and now eating crow for it.

Hope they keep it up so there is a great number of Tacoma's on the lot this spring to choose from.

 

They're bringing back the Ranger already?

 

That is still a rumor and isn't confirmed by Ford. Same goes for the Bronco.

 

So we have an increase of supply, lack of true price discovery with too few transactions cleared. I think prices are going to go down and fast from the early adopter penalty.
