I've been reading about suspensions and lifting on here for quite awhile and was pretty sure I was going with Bilstein 5100's for the shocks, but then recently came across these new shocks that Eibach is advertising:
    http://eibach.com/america/en/performance/pro-truck-shocks

They look pretty new and I've searched on this forum with no discussion on them.
I see that they're being sold through a few online retailers but was wondering if anyone has any information on them like what springs are recommended to be used with them, how they compare to Bilstein or OME, etc.

Again, they look pretty new so guessing there aren't many with actual usage but I just wanted to throw it out there, and also just make it aware that these are another option available now.

Any info would be interesting to hear!
I'll keep searching myself as I finally decide on a lift package and then, hopefully soon, actually get it done!

According to their site, the Sport is "for standard to moderately lifted trucks" and the other is only for non-lifted trucks. But the Sport Leveling might be most like the 5100 since the seat height can be altered? All 3 appear to be monotone designs.

Would be interesting to learn if these are actually made by Eibach or if they're just rebadged Bilsteins, Sachs or some other euro thing.

What's curious is their Pro-Truck line of springs aren't made for their Pro-Truck line of shocks. Gotta love marketing ...

More info. Received today but slightly confused. Amazon and Toytec both state the adjustments are slightly different than billies.
On websites: Ride height is adjustable in increments - 0, .7, 1.4, 2.5"
Yet the instructions state 0, .8, 1.6 and 2.5". Really doesn't matter that much to me as I desperately need to replace my 6+ year old billies anyways.
Different packaging but looks pretty darn similar to billies.
Hoping to install this weekend between football games then work through the vibe issues I started having after someone wrecked into the back on my rig a few months back.
Axle shims, carrier drops, new driveshaft or whatever it takes to level back out again like it once was before the "bonehead" smashed into me at a stop light.

Installed last weekend, straight and simple however had to fight seating one in the lower control arm, the other slid in fine.
Appears I got the same lift up front as I did with the billies but kinda expected that. No major issues or complaints to report thus far but have only driven it 30 miles or so.

Unlike Bilsteins there was no dust/boot cover included. I reused the billy dust covers I had originally installed. I also noticed the collars aren't interchangeable between billies and eibachs.
Happy with the ride thus far but no noticeable difference between the two except for different logo's.

Collar meaning the plate on the bottom of the spring that adjusts? Hmm may have to go with the billies then, I don't think my blue boots from the stock suspension will fit over these.

Pulled mine back off. I guess too many tweaks/front end alignments has caused my swaybar to be in constant contact with the collar. The pics above have plenty of clearance but mine has zero. I even installed the sway bar drop kit to no avail.
Went back to my old bilsteins (smaller collar) and now have no metal on metal rubbing.

Pretty sure these are made for them by bilstein. The new 6112 has an eibach coil so they have been working together recently. Some of the areas you mention could be different but i bet the insides are the same.

    Hey Fellas,

We actually make them in house at our manufacturing plant in Corona, CA. We've been building our own shocks for years and are now jumping into the truck market.

If any of you are local and would like a quick tour, please let me know. Also, I can answer any additional questions you have.

I am a Toyota guy, too. On my 3rd Tundra currently.

Thanks for the info Ryan. That is what our understanding was as well.

We do have quite a few of these shocks in stock ready to ship if anyone is interested. :burnrubber:

    Hey Ryan,
I know the pic in this post is off of a 2nd Gen, but im sure ive seen them for first gens. The price difference between them and the HDs are damn near the same.
first question is: Maybe I didn't read it properly. Do you make struts and shocks for a first Gen and if so, will they fit a none TRD prerunner?
second question is: Can I use the OE springs or do i need to get bigger ones? If so, what Eibach springs would your recommend?
    Thank you for your time.

    Ryan,
Its an older post but i figured what the hay. I am seriously considering eibach 2in coil over kit from ToyTec on my 16 trd sport 4x4.
Can you shed any insight on this kit and why I should choose this over Bilstein 5100 kit?
    Thanks in advance!
