Does anyone know if the rubber cover to the USB/Aux port can be gracefully removed in a way that it can easily be put back? I don't want to break it but I want to remove it at this time so it doesn't stick up when my flash drive is inserted.

Look at it closely with a flashlight.

    Answer will reveal itself.

I don't think it's removable. Also.. First world problems.

Pull out the entire plug from the dash, flip it upside down, the cover will be pulled by gravity and won't get in the way.
