I was going to frame out an 8x8 room on the front of mine. Nothing fancy. Just an area big enough to store spare parts/tools and that I could set up a cot and a window unit. But I think if I end up with another gooseneck, I'll just end up putting a RTT on the tongue deck.

Cool Thanks. Yeah the rear axle is the easy part, I borrowed this trailer from a friend so I have no idea where he got those straps from but they worked nicely. I was able to load it up and secure the rig in about 10 minutes

It's a small world, made even smaller by the internet.

It's too bad I'm not in that building anymore, no more wrecks out my window.

Damn Nathan. This is escalating fast. Tow rig and trailer look great. Glad to see work and everything is going good !

Thanks Kase. We'll see how the new setup fairs this weekend. I'm heading up to Colorado for the @ToyTec Lifts open house. Sounds like they're going to have a good turnout.

My folks just moved to Ft. Collins, so this will let me show off Trail Toys and get in a visit with them. And I'll hit up Trees Ranch on the way home. Trees Ranch is holding a raffle so I'll throw a few goodies in there as well.

I was talking to jerry about those straps, he said he just happened to find 3 of those straps on the side of the road, and then the 4th somewhere else

I strap my 4Runner with sleeved axle loop straps, one at each corner and x, simple and it works well.

An IFS vehicle can be a little more difficult to strap without damaging something. There are different opinions on right and wrong, and what works best. Eventually I want to get some tire straps, that is much easier than crawling underneath to hook the axles.

I picked up several options this weekend. I ordered a Mac's pro pack with wheel straps. I'm planning on running two of the straps crossed on the rear axle and two through the front wheels angled off to the side of the trailer.

I also picked up some standard ratchets with flat hooks and wire hooks to add to the mix if need be.

Not planning on throwing an NSA into the Trees Ranch raffle as I don't have as much exposure there as other events. But we can work something out if you want one.

Damn, oh well. I'm going to be pulling my Bussmann off the truck after the Trees meet and once I sell it I'm going to order an NSA.

Well, you should definitely shoot for Trees first, but if that doesn't work out try for Fallout.

Did a little wheeling with the Scott and Dylan from Toytec today. I'm jealous of the playground they have in their backyard.

We ran several trails around Idaho Springs Co. Namely Cascade Creek and Spring Gulch. So much to see and do out here.

We had a great time out a Trees Ranch this weekend. Thanks to Lyndal @bakerla and Matt @MJS for the spotting and company this weekend.

Trees Ranch is no joke. You can easily add a diamond to each of their trail ratings, at least with what I'm used too. I pulled my winch line out to pull myself out of a jam more than ever before at this park. It's definitely one to put on your list.

Between a rock and a hard spot. That rock in front of my left rear tire was wedged between my slider and tire. The rock was too tall to climb without a little tug.
