Hows it going new to the forum here. I try to do my best to research threads before asking but my lack of patience doesnt help hahah. Anyway, i just moved from maine to montana. Before i left i got the steering shaft and my right tie rod replaced. My second day of highway travel my steering wheel starts shaking but only from 60-80mph. Once i hit 85ish its stop but i can still feel the vibration in the pedals. I'm thinking maybe wheel bearing? I checked it myself and didnt find any play but im no technician. Also after i got it back from the shop before i left my air bag light was on and i dont have a horn. I looked at all the fuses, checked the clock spring, and it looked fine but like i said im no technician. Thanks!

Update: i tooled around on the highway and there was no steering wheel shake. Until i stopped for gas and hopped back on the highway. Then it was right back to it. Seems like it starts to shake after whatever it is loosens up after sitting.

Did you get an alignment done afterwards?

I'd check for a loose tierod and make sure they didn't screw anything up. Sounds like they did if your horn isn't working and your airbag light is on.

I had a similar issue, when the cotter pin on the castle nut holding my LCA fell out and the nut dam near tab itself off. Maybe not the exact issue, but sounds like a looses component
