I saw some talk about WeatherTech so I thought I'd share this.
I emailed WeatherTech a couple weeks ago about when they expect the FloorLiner will be available and this was their response on 8/26.

Starting with a magnetic gray metallic Limited 4x4
    Remove/replace all chrome
Black fenders from an OR model
Replace front grill (hopefully something like a Satoshi, mostly flat black with Toyota in small white lettering)
    King coilovers (when made)
Some wheel/tire combo (thinking black trd pro wheels atm)
JL stealthbox (if JBL sub isn't adequate)
Look into getting a second set of headlights to break open and black out the chrome bits... done this with a previous car but dunno if it'll work on the new Tacoma's headlights.
    done.

Why not just get a base model and go up from there? Why are you butchering a Limited??????

Because moonroofs and heated leather seats aren't generally easy DIY projects.

moonroof, leather and JBL are all packages that could be added to a base or SR5.

Well, I've had the Weather Tech mats for the front only at a cost of $145.00 CDN, in my 2006 Taco... they worked pretty good. However, I bought the 3D Maxspider Kagu mats for Ole lady's Corolla.... they look better...they are not slippery like the W/T's hard plastic... AND I can get the front AND rear floor mats for $10.00 less than the price of the front only W/T's... I do no know what the material is, but it rinses nicely with a hose.. and looks new in seconds...It's kinda "hairy" and flexible... not a smooth hard plastic... My W/T's show boot scrapes and discolouring and I'm not buying them again...

    Check these out guys...

As soon as it comes in its getting dropped off for

Rolling Tonneau Cover (full metal) w/ http://www.pace-edwards.com/accessories#explorer-series-rails so I can carry my bike around
Window Tint (going to try to match dark to the front and rear as best as I can)

Then when I get it back I already have
    LED Headlights
    LED Fogs Lights
    LED Interior/License Plate/Reverse Lights

After that... Nothing. Since I get the truck for free through my company, I get a new truck every 2 years there is no use putting any money into anything else. The tonneau and lights will be switched when the 2018 truck comes in.

Mud flaps a must I don't understand why they won't put them on there I can see not putting on off road. It doesn't save on gas mileage at all I wouldn't think. If I didn't have mud flaps on my truck the rockers and rocker panels would be chipped all to hell.

What company is that giving you a new truck every 2 years? Sounds like I am in the wrong profession!

I know on the 2nd gen they just use existing holes, from what I can tell the 3rd gens are the same. Just pop out the rubber thread covers and it all bolts right up. Its a quick and easy job

I work in the auto industry. Our company supplies vehilces to all its sales people, and employees who have been loyal to the company after so many years. After 2-3 years we just send them off to the auction.

Mud flaps on my 1st Gen were one of the first things to get damaged when wheeling. If they install them, here's to hoping they actually hold up
