The one I purchased didn't fit in the hexagon mesh so I put it lower. Where I have it the grill angles toward the motor so I cut a small piece of black rubber bungee and made it sit vertical. Plus they are cheap and break easily under light pressure.

Thanks fellas. I really like the way it looks. For $7.99 it might be worth snaggin' one and seeing what I can do with it.

For $7.99 doesn't hurt to try it out. I'm actually thinking about just plasti-dipping the whole thing and having it look stealth on the grill, making it only visible to the Tacoma enthusiasts...

I tried to derp the TRD in white but I wasn't satisfied with the out come. The derp was to thick and made the emblem run together. I think black maybe the way to go!

I had one on my Tacoma for about 10 months and at first it looked slick, but eventually the sun faded it so bad that now I have it on my locker at work.

I have had 3 of them on my grillcraft grille on my 09 they were the black version and they were junk IMO. The paint doesn't last long on the mounting hardware. It quickly turned into rust which then bled down my grill below the emblem. The emblem paint itself did not last long either the one I have now is really faded the only part that lasted was the white and red. (Picture is when it was new) Maybe the chrome verison is better.
