    Andrew: I want blue, damnit!
Jon: I still would have to take them somewhere for the spring swap.... but that is tempting Jon....

I was going to pull the ICON coilovers and have them rebuild them and swap springs until the King group buy came up, still might. If DSM replies that they will sell new Kings with the springs I want for the GB price I will honor my commitment, it is just money and at the moment I have a couple extra dimes in my pocket.

Right, but your Icons are fine and you can apply that cash elsewhere. I love Kings don't get me wrong but you have barely used those Icons. A revalve and heavier spring will cost less and go far on them Icons

Not saying theyre terrible, I've just moved on to better things haha. Despite being broken in before I got em, the expos still rode pretty harsh with 200lbs and definitely did not hold true to maintaining that 3-3.5" lift while loaded down with all my gear. I'm excited for my custom deavers from DMZ and the SUA kit

Ok that's what I thought, but wasn't sure. I know yours were pretty flat at the trips loaded up.

What's the hauling capacity on those?

    this!!
definitely keep the icons and just do a new spring and a re valve.
don't waste money on having 2 pairs of shocks. like you said, maybe get a new leaf pack, or maybe go balls out and do a sweet canteliever long travel rear end to keep your bed space, but have mas flex ;)

In a brief moment of clarity I have decided to rebuild my ICON coilovers with the higher rate springs and the shocks set up for stiffer compression. This will be less than half the cost of new King coilovers but I will miss that lovely shade of blue. Coilovers will be pulled of after my Saturday trip to Tucson for NBRSA Rifle Match.

Okay so rear leafs. I called Deaver, the Expo leafs are for trucks with added weight like mine. $810 plus $75 shipping. Alcan will build whatever I want as far as lift and load capacity for $650 plus shipping. Deaver price includes U bolts and bushings. Too bad no group buy on springs....

You're definitely going to pay a bit more for Deaver over Alcan but for good reason. Those things are 100% in house and made by hand in 'murica
