2015 bed rail system

Anybody install a later year Taco bed cargo rail system in a first gen? My buddy bought a '15 and I was thinking it would be really easy to install the same rails in my 01 with liner. Thoughts?

 

Go down several posts to the thread "bed tie downs" those L tracks also called a couple other terms (airline track) but those are perfect either on the sides of the bed rails or bottom of bed or both! Then pick out your choice of D rings and youre set! Pretty darn cheap too and a couple different styles check out that uscorgocontrol site and Amazon sells a lot of that style tie down system. Its basically the same thing as second gen tie downs.
