My 2015 Sport has everything the 2016 has with the exception of a sunroof. Right now, I prefer the 4.0 to the 3.5 until proven otherwise. I've had sunroofs before and never used them. I like my wheels much better, plus no Blue Ribbon Metallic for 2016. The 3rd gens will no doubt be great trucks. I'm still very happy and glad that I bought a 2015. Actually like it better.

Good for you. Don't have to constantly defend your decision to get a 2015. It's not like you will be looked down upon by the other kids at the sand box.

I'm loving the 16's, but love my classic 13' even more with the 4.0L :)

Thanks for posting the pictures. Great looking truck, but I am happy with my 2015. But maybe in a few years who knows.

I had the same issue with the Mists. Did not like the design of the NC and waited for the ND...hen I bought an NC nd now I am keeping it. I realized I don't see the outside when I am driving it. Live and drive from the inside out and ugly is not an issue. Are people going to show the truck or drive it.

The styling didn't sell me The improvements did. IT may not be a "back glance truck" when exiting....But I am certain it will beat my 15 on a number of metrics.

I like it too. I've always been partial to 1st gens and never was a big fan of 2nd gens, so to me this model is an improvement, especially if they took care of the vibration issue I've heard about on the 2nd gens. I just got my new frame on my '03 earlier this year so I'm driving that for a couple more years and then I'm looking to get a '17 or '18 model.

Seriously. Some of the gen 2 folks really need to ease up on trying to defend their trucks in the gen 3 section. It's gotten pathetic and has grown beyond old.

Totally. The funny part is that for as much as they hate on the gen 3, they sure do spend a lot of time in the gen 3 forums.

Yea, the truck might be great as you're driving it, but as soon as you get out, it slaps you in the face.

Might raise the value of the 2nd gens, because you want a truck you can admire, not abhor.

I was ready to dump my 12 for a 16, but these pictures have me second guessing myself.

Just because they're modern doesn't make them attractive... Quite frankly I don't understand what was wrong with all of these front ends below. Yes, they're all old and their "beauty" is subjective, but they share the same design proportions as the 2nd and 1st gen Tacomas which was that the headlights were roughly the same height as the grill and the bumper was directly beneath. "modern" designs seem to be making the grill bleed into the bumper, and grow above the headlights into the hood. It's subjective, but my opinion is that it's fucking ugly and the older designs looked better.
