Hello. New user first post. So im sorry if this is in the wrong section, but it does pertain to second gen.

I have a 2015 trd sport 4wd long bed crew cab.
I like to go light wheeling. mud pits. and some sand driving. Not really doing much high speed. there are quite a few dirt roads and roads with potholes where i am so i want something that can handle all of that.

I was thinking of putting a lift on my truck. I was originally thinking on a 6 inch pro comp or fabtech. But from some research it seems like the lift only really moves the suspension parts. It doesn't really add suspension travel. although i like the look and price

So I looked into a long travel but that seems a little out of price range. And from more research i found that they need a bit of maintenance and constant adjustment.

I think i found a safe median between lift and suspension upgrade. I looked into a mid travel suspension. so i get a bit of lift and some added travel.

After some reading it seems that i like the camburg uca uniball. with the larger uniball it seems that there is less binding and more durability.

I was also interested in fox shocks and coilovers. i would like the 2.5 with the dsc.
my first question is. Are the 2.0 performance shocks just as good with the the CD adjuster.
do they perform well. do you think they will meet my needs.

The reason I ask is because i found 2 kits that seem appealing.

the first is a fox suspension kit. but it comes with a total chaos uca. which isnt bad but i like the camburg.

it also comes with a leaf pack.

the second kit has the camburg uca and fox shocks but they are not adjustable.

it is also about a grand cheaper which i could use for bumpstops and leaf pack.

which kit do you think is better? do you think i should get the fox ultimate and try to sell the tc uca and get the camburg? also how is the toyotec leafpack that comes with the ultimate kit.

finally does anyone know where i can get a kit similar to the fox ultimate. but with the camburg uca?

I just installed the all pro UCA. Quality product. Also installed the fox 2.5 coilovers, non-resi. I'm in the same group as you, light offroading and shit. Let me tell ya, the only reason I got these particular items is because of group buys and buying used. The uca was from a group buy, my coilovers and rear suspension that I haven't installed yet are bought used at about 50-60% retail.

You are rattling off commonly installed equipment around TW, but that stuff is ultimately for the hardcover usage. So be sure to understand that up front. With what you want to do, any aftermarket uca will work great if you're looking to go up to 2.5 or 3 inches of lift. If you're under 2.5" then an aftermarket uca is not necessary.

The fox shox, kings, icons... these are top of the line offroading suspension mods. It's awesome to get that stuff, but understand that there are a TON of cheaper options that will meet your need. Seriously check out the OME kits. They are designed exactly for what you're wanting.

I'm not trying to take away All Pro's business because I'm running a front and rear setup that was originally bought from them (all pro rocks! ). Knowledge is power and a money saver, so please scour the TW threads for info. Couple hours of searching/reading and you'll be very well informed.
