I have only owned Toyota Trucks my entire life. Unfortunately I do not own a Tacoma at the moment but I have been looking at getting a brand new truck either 2016 or 2017. Naturally the first thing I looked at was what was coming off the line for Tacoma. Absolutely love what Toyota is bringing in for the 3rd Gen Tacoma.

It also wasn't long before I also noticed the Chevy Colorado Mid-size truck stepped up their game. Just curious if anyone else had any thoughts on this as well. Its interesting to me to see that the Tacoma, for the first time, might have an competitor in its class.

I'm 99.9% leaning towards Tacoma cause I cant imagine having any other truck. I was just wondering what others thought about the Colorado?

Welcome! Both are ugly trucks appearance wise but if i had to choose one for you or myself in the long run due to the overall truck i'd choose the 3rd gen.Tacoma.Just my opinion and good luck on your decision!

Thank you, Yeah I wasn't a fan of the looks of the Colorado and I'm usually not into the fancy truck look but the Tacoma looks sharp to me. My first reaction was to completely throw the Colorado out of the picture but I would hate to miss out on a good machine due to ignorance. I cant get away from the 3rd GEN offroad features, knowing I wouldn't use them all the time but I'm the type that "if I might need it, I would like to have it." Bummed the didn't put disk brakes in the back maybe 2017.
