Hello, I'm planning to purchase a new 2015 Tacoma TRD DCSB 4x4 but I've been reading a lot about drive line vibrations on the second generation Tacoma's. Is this is serious issue or this being blown out of proportion? I've even seen threads of people complaining about a brand new 2015 model with this issue. So my question is are you having any drive line vibrations or issues on your second gen Tacoma?

    Thank you

I have vibes at take off and a little while stopping after I install a 3" lift. Can't figure it out and haven't got any answers.

    Have you solve your vibes?

Vibes plague all of the Tacoma's, including stock trucks with 6 miles on the ODO. I got lucky and had none, until I lifted and now have a small vibe around the 5 MPH mark. I am leaving it, since fixing it could cause another vibe elsewhere and this one is pretty minimal.

Tacoma's are great, but they're guaranteed to have poor leaf springs, frame life is questionable, and vibes are a total possibility at any time with or without modifications.

^^He's right. I had no vibes at all till I lifted my truck too,at take off and at
55-60 mph. I test drove a trd pro 4x4 before deciding on the off road and it had more noticeable vibes than what mine has lifted.

maybe I just got lucky but my slight vibe issue as brand new stock truck (from take off to ~20 mph) went away when I did a 3" lift with a carrier bearing drop and 3 degree axle shims - all smooth now up through highway speeds
