i lost the thread and my attempt to use the search failed. There is a company that sells bed brackets to use with a hard tonneau cover. They fit the rail under the tonneau and allow you to install a rack while still being able to open and close the cover. Anybody know the company?

Not the one I was referring to . These were four plates that mounted in each corner and stuck out the side from under the cover to mount vertical posts to have a cab high rack. Your product looks good! Will it do what I want? Again nice stuff and price!

Sure. Just mount the rack to the crossbars, and flip the whole assembly over when you want to close the cover.

I see your bars mount to the oem track in the bed correct? Going crosswise under the closed cover? How would I attach a rack with the cover in place ? I am not seeing it. Go slow ,I'm ......lol

The bars can rotate if you loosen the factory cleats. So when you want to fold the cover back over the bed, you rotate the crossbar and kayak rack so that it hangs down.

This obviously means that the cover can't be used while transporting the kayaks.

I see what your saying! I forgot to mention that the tonneau is a hard top so no rolling. Thanks for the info I'll keep looking!
