    Hi guys-

Just replaced my totaled 08 4cyl and upgraded. I now have a 09 Pre-Runner TRD Sport DCSB in Super White. I really loved this truck after looking at around a dozen. It came down to two and I chose the '09 over an '11 because there was about a 5K difference in asking price.

Previous owner was 2nd owner and he bought with 40K miles. It now has 105K.

My question to all of you is: What sort of maintenance should I perform at this point??

I've done a full synthetic 5w/30 Oil Change as soon as I got it. What about the transmission (automatic)? Not sure if I should fully flush and replace?

    Thoughts...?

    Thank you all in advance!

Yes, flush the tranny. Filter should be good but at least take a look at it and clean it as needed.
    Replace diff gear oil.
    Replace coolant and hoses.
    Inspect other hoses for wear/tear/cracks.
    Replace serpentine belt.
Inspect brake wear; replace if pads have less than 5mm material.
    Replace spark plugs with Iridiums.
    Replace u-joints.
Inspect front wheel bearings and ball joints.
Grease anything with a zerk fitting.

These are things I would do unless previous owner has proof they were done in last 10k miles. Better to be safe than sorry. These are off the top of my head. I'm sure I missed one or two things. You start off great with the sny oil change, but don't stop there!

I would switch ATF to Valvoline MaxLife. These may be fighting words to some but it's a proven WS replacement. Flushed all the vehicles in my household with it and have not had any problems (first two came with WS): 07 Taco, 07 Lexus ES350, 07 Corolla, & 06 V4 Camry.
