Enjoy the new last of the good engine Tacomas. the 4.0 with a super charger is a beast.

Do not expect the same reliability from the 2015 as the pre 2005 had though, 89-95 were the best years for simple truck design and function.

Welcome. 1st gens and older were the best trucks I've owned and or driven. The 2nd gen's not so bad themselves. I believe someone is on this site with over or close to 300K on their truck.

New tires is the first thing I would buy, Get a highway tire if thats your thing or a solid all terrain if you plan to off road at all.

Stock tires are good enough for old people and folks who drive just to drive.

Depends on where you are but stock tires are ok for just daily driving though a good set of tires can change driving feel and look. Also keeping in mind that heavier wheels and tires will affect your mpgs.

Nice! We've had 1st gen 4Runners and a bunch of pre-tacoma trucks in our family though my access to cameras then wasn't as easily accessible as it is now as I was just a kid. I'm sure we have photos somewhere.
