Hey everyone, just figured I would share some of the recent products I picked up from Amazon.com to help share what products are out there and to get feedback on how you guys like any of the things I picked up. A lot of these I've never used before. A few of the products in the picture (example: Turtle Wax Wheel + Tire Cleaner, and M Tech Tire Shine) are just things that I picked up on a whim from Auto Zone to try out because why not. But everything else I got from Amazon.

    From left to right:

Turtle Wax All Wheel and Tire Cleaner - Just bought it to clean tires

Eagle One PVD and Aluminum Wheel Cleaner - I love this wheel cleaner, it smells great and works wonders

Chemical Guys V Line Polish and Compound Kit - Never tried before

    Chemical Guys Pad Cleaner

Mothers M Tech Tire Shine - Never tried before

Griots Garage Speed Shine - Never tried before, I was super surprised to find that my Auto Zone up here in Alaska carries some Griots products

Zymol Leather Conditioner - They make great leather care products (The taco isn't leather but I have a Tundra that is).

Meguairs Mirror Glaze Ultra Cut Compound 105 - Never tried before although I do know you can really only "cut" a vehicles paint once to avoid removing too much clear coat

Chemical Guys Wheel Woolies - These are super soft and I think they'll work great on my Matte Black Method NVs

Chemical Guys Hex Logic Buffing Pad Kit 6.5" - They sent me an extra yellow pad on accident :D

    Soft Touch Microfiber Towel

Meguiars Microfiber Cutting Disc 5" - These work great to remove defects but in my experience don't last long

    Griots Garage Pad Conditioning Brush

Griots Garage Lug Nut Cleaning Brush

Quite a haul! I use the griots speed shine if the truck isn't dirty enough to take it to the car wash but I still wanna clean it up a little. Not bad. Nothing to write home about. I've been recommending the turtle wax ice spray wax as of late. Very impressive for a wipe on-wipe off product! Amazing shine and longevity. I use it after every wash. Come back with your thoughts on some of those products!

Thanks! Sometimes I think I'm set on my detailing arsenal and then I start watching YouTube videos and think "Oh I need that" lol. I definitely want to try out the Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax, only heard good things about it! And I sure will let you know! Probably going to try a lot of this stuff out tomorrow if the Alaskan weather permits. It's been quite rainy lately but man my truck is filthy.

Ha. Always looking for the next best product. The last thing I need is another can of wax or detailer and the next thing i buy is a can of wax or detailer. Endless fun... Shinier! Slicker! Newer! Longer lasting!

For sure, picked up a big bottle of the 205 since it's something a lot less serious than the 105!

Hahaha if you got pictures of the paint up close I can give you an idea. But typically a full paint correction, topped with a wax or sealant will run you around $240, very time and labor intensive, so it may or may not be worth it to you. Just know that if I fixed everything it would be a one time thing, because it would remove a reasonable amount of clear coat (not anything harmful). I know it sounds scary but anytime you're buffing the paint you're removing a minuscule amount, it's just that deeper swirls/spiderwebbing in paint require a more aggressive compound. So if the paint got tons of pinstriping again in the future you'd pretty much have to live with it and that couldn't be fixed again because you'd risk removing too much clear coat. Which is why I say it may or may not be worth it to you, you'd just never want to take it down a narrow trail again is what I'm trying to say. It would be about 8 hours of work, most shops around anchorage charge about $350 for full paint correction, i know from personal experience, like Denali Auto Detail did mine once and it ran me $350, I really only compare to them because they're a lot more trustworthy than a lot of shops around
