I want to get some, but I am too far away. I want to harvest rainwater with them for a garden.

Today I learned: you can break down an old Toyota pickup (79-83) with a 10, 12, 13mm socket.

Just about every nut or bolt I touched today was one of those three. The majority was 10mm.

It was very simple and I liked it. Today, on a new truck (like my 06') you would need 15 different sizes of sockets (and probably specialty tools) to do what I did.

Older stuff is "plug and play" and that is a dying sport. It is a shame.

I'm talking body mounts, engine, brake, clutch, all kinds of shit, with those 3 sockets.

I have done regular maintenance on mine, installed several lifts on mine and others, and have used a shit ton of different tools, sockets.

After about 20 minutes of using those three sockets alone, I just put them in my pocket. I would never be able to do that on mine, or any "newer" vehicle.

Stuff I Think Makes it Better
Visiting the folks in Indiana for the weekend, long drive but gonna be worth it since my wife bought me season opener tix for Bears v. Packers at Soldier's Field. Actually drove the truck up for it (tailgating) and was surprised by how well it did for a 13hrs drive. Gas wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be, either.
