New to Tacoma world but have had Toyotas for over 15 years. mostly Corolla's and older Toyota truck years ago. I needed a truck that is good, strong, and most important dependable. The Tacoma I got is a 1999 Tacoma Xtr cab, 4 cylinder, automatic. Only issue I have right now is the Air bag light is blinking so I guess real help would be great.
    Thanks
    Roy

Welcome to the addiction! I can't offer much help on the air bag light, but on my Ford Escape there was a weight sensor on the right passenger seat to disable the airbag for kids, and when it was disconnected it would blink. Not sure if a 1999 Tacoma has that sensor though. Otherwise it sounds like it could be the airbag controller. The code should come up when engine codes are read, however.
