Has anyone ever tried to convert a 2002 sr5 Tacoma to manual windows? When searching for a truck i couldnt find one with manual windows with the engine i wanted. I prefer manual window cranks and locks, so is their anyway to convert from power to manual windows/locks?

Welcome to TW. Haven't done it, but I wouldn't see any reason why it couldn't be done. I'd expect the steel door to be identical, with just different components installed. If you had a doner door to do the swap, including the interior door panel should be pretty strait forward.

You would likely get more help posting in the 1st Gen Tacoma forum, since you have a first gen Tacoma.

Thanks for the idea, i still havent bought it yet. Me and my cousin talked ( he has a 97 taco) and he suggested to just wait a little longer and maybe one that fits what im looking for will pop up.

Try looking for a "you-wrench-it" place. I would assume the doors would be the same.
